L. HALFWAY SPORTS. THE BANK HOLIDAY VESTURE OF LIANELLY A.F.C. Preparations for the athletic sports to be held at JlallVay in connection with the LL.iplly A.F.C. are practically complete, and it is pleasing to note that the eritries, in all events are heavy. Good sport is promised, and the various competitions -=- will be s?vpfdy conipstrd. Per haps ?p?'ciai note should be made of the sprint, the prize of which is 'Talent jn this event is rpally\good. and some of the names of those competing I are: J. Crowley (Cardie), winner of the Welsh Powderhall (1912); Ellis Shan'. Treherbert, winner of the Cambria Dash (c(.iO and .gold medal), J. Harris, Aber- j gwynft. H, O. Rees, Glamorgan Welsh champion sprinter, and J.E. Ford, of Cardiff. It might he mentioned that new offices for the club have been taken in the Arcade and a professional lias lieeti en- gaged to look after J lalfway, which will show great improvement at the Opening of the season. Several of the new players have already arrived in the town.
