ABERDARE. I ABBRDARE ENGINEER'S APPOINTMENT. Mr. W. H. Hughes, 9 Whitoombo Street, Aber- dare, was, at Saturday's meeting of the Mer- thyr Board of Guardians, appointed working engineer to the Auxiliary Workhouse. The Children's Homes Committee, Aberdare, had received seven applications for the post, but these were reduced to three, who were recom- mended for solection by the Board.
