THE Council inrite applications for the following appointments until 25th March, 1895 MEDICAL OFFICER OF HEALTH for the Machynlleth Urban District, comprising the Town- ship of the Town and Liberties of Machynlleth, at a salary at the rate of X10 per a .num. INSPECTOR OF NUISANCES AND SUR- VEYOR OF HIGHWAYS for the same District, at a total salary at the rate of X30 per annum (being X20 in respect of the duties of Inspector of Nuisances and £10 in respect of those of Surveyor of Highways). Both offices to be held by the same person. The Medical Officer of Health (who must possess the prescribed qualifications) and Inspector of Nuisances will be required to perform all the duties contained in the Public Health Acts, and the Ordets of the Local Government Board, and such other duties as may be required by the Council. The Surveyor of Highways is to enter into a Bond with a surety or sureties in the sum of X25 for the due performance of the duties. The appointment of Inspector of Nuisances will, when made, be sub-' ject to the approval of the Local Government Board. The Officers are not required to devote their whole time to the duties of their respective offices.
