JTO THE COl^T^^UNCIL OF CAR* VONj— lAnd to all others whom it may concern. WHEREAS by sub-section (1) of Section 9 of the Motor Car Act, 1903 (herein-after referred to as "the Act"), it is enacted that, jwithin any limits or place referred to in Regulations made by Us, the Local Govern- ment Board, with a view to the safety es the public, on the application of the local, authority of the area in which the limits idiv place are situate, a person shall not drive a motor car at a speed exceeding ten mi-Us per hour; And whereas the County Council of Car- narvon having made application to Us to make a Regulation in pursuance of the said Sub-section putting the above-mentioned provisions of that sub-section in force within the limits comprising certain roads or parts :of roads situate within the Urban District of Bettwsycoed, in the County of Carnarvon, NY e directed a Local Inquiry to be held into the matter 'by one of Our Inspectors, and the Inquiry wa#> held accordingly, and Re- port has been made to Us thereon NOW THEREFORE, in pursuance of the powers given to Us in that behalf. We do, by this Our Order, make the following Regula- tions ARTICLE 1.- The provisions, of sub- section (1) of Section 9 of the Act with rea- pect to the driving of a motorí car at a speed not exceeding ten miles per hour shall apply and have effect within the limits comprising the road and the part of a road within the Urban District of Bettwsvcoed. which are specified in the Schedule hereto. ARTICLE II.—'These Regulations shall come into operation on the Sixth day of December, One thousand nine hundred and Itiine. SCHEDULE.
