WANTED A LADY accustomed to Tuition, and with prood references, desires a Re-Engagement as GOVERNESS. Teaches English, French (acquired abroad), Music, and Drawing.— Address L. M., Post-office, Blackwood, near Newport, Mon- mouthshire. [3004 NOTICES- SAINT ANDREW'S CHURCH, CARDIFF. THE Church ofSaint Andrew's is a Chapel of Ease, con- nected with Saint John's Vicarage, Cardiff. It was erected to meet the wants of a large and increasing population, ard was opened for Divine worship on the 3rd of March, 1863. It affords accommodation to about 600 persons. The original design was more costly than was anticipated, and for a long time the works were suspended; but through the energy and liberality of one Gentleman, the building was at length completed, though in a far plainer and more imperfect manner than was at first proposed. The new and recently gathered congregation have, on all occasions, readily and liberally responded to the appeals made to them for aid, and have done much to add to the comfort of the Church; but there yet remains so much to complete the interior arrange- ments, that an appeal to others, who wish well to the Established Church of our land, is absolutely necessary. An Organ, so essential to the solemnities of public worship, is indispensable; and many other additions to relieve the present nakedness of the building are required. To carry these objects iuto effect, a sum of not less than £ 500 is necessary. Many promises of assistance have been kindly made, and those con- nected with the Church have undertaken to provide £200 to- wards the required amount. The Vicar and Churchwardens most earnestly appeal to the friends of the Church generally, I and particularly to those connected with the Town of Cardiff by residence, or property, to assist them in providing the re- mainder. In an age happily characterized by so much progress in Church building and exten-ion, as well as by the cultivation and promotion of improved Church music, it is confidently anticipated that this undertaking cannot fail to meet with adequate sympathy and support. Contributions will be thank- fully received at the National Provincial Bank, Cardiff, or by either of the undersigned. D. HOWELL, Vicar. ALEXKNI)ER B'VAN, Cburchwardens. 27711 JNO.
