To Messrs. the Danlop Pneumatic Tyre Co., Ltd., Birmingham. Dear Sirs, We are sending yon this evening, four covers 870x 90, which we shall be glad if yon will re-tread for u", potting non-skid treads on all four tyres. You will notice that the covers are in a very good state of preservation, and should stand re-treading ton' & very well indeed. Perhaps it will interest you to know that the four tyres in question have been on a 15 h.p. Napier tor a year, and the owner tells m that they have covered 51 bout 6/7000 miles, and in that time he has not had a single pancture and with the exception of one. they have never been removed from the rims, and this one tyre was only taken off to repair a surface cnt caused by a stone.
