Red Cross Hospital, Llwynypia. A mokt pleasant and enjoyable evening was spsnt by the wotindod soldiers now resident at the above named institution on Wednesday, the 6th inst, The ladv members of the Pontypridd Board of Guardians, together with Mrs. W. P. Nicholas, the Garth, Trealaw, and some of the male Guardians, entertained them at a tea and concert. Very valuable assis- tance was rendered at the tea by Mrs. James, Maes-y-Rhvddid, Hopkinstown Mrs. W. Fenwick, Abercynon; and Miss Griffiths, Wat-tstown. The Master and Matron. Mr. and Mrs. T. Lewis, deserve the highest praise for their painstaking efforts te secure tke comfort and enjoyment of the men. The concert which followed the tea was thoroughly appreciated by all present.
