The annual horse show on the Treherbert Athletic Grounds proved a great attraction on this day. An accident which might have resulted in the loss of the sight of one eye occurred to the child of Mr. A. D. Phillips (secre- tary of the Treherbert Chamber of Trade) last week. The boy fell on a pin, which pierced him in the region of the eye. He is now. however, making progress towards recovery. On Sunday and Monday, the annual preaching services of Ebenezer (W.o.) Church toon place, when powerful ser- mons were delivered to large gatherings by the Rev. Miall James, Aberhonddu, and the Rev. B. Adams, B.A., Liverpool. The Ebenezer Chapel Choir were bene- ficiaries of a tea. party held at the chapel on Wednesday evening last.
