InterestingLocal Wedding. MOSlfs—WOODS. More than usiial interest was evinced in the wedding of Mr. Wm. Moses, Ton- yrefail. to Miss Hettie Ahna Woods, 12-,?. Maindy Road, Ton-Pentre, which was solemnised at Salem Baptist Chapel. Porth, by the Rev. E. W. Davies, pastor of Hebron Chapel, Ton, on Wednesday morning. Both families are well known and enjoy the respect of a wide circle at friends in the Rhondda Valleys. The bride, who was becomingly attired in a charmingly made grey costume, with hat to match, trimmed with ostrich feathers, was given away by her step-father, Mr. Daniel Davies. Mr. Glyndwr Moses (bro- ther of the bridegroom) acting as best man. The only bridesmaid was Miss Catherine Mary (Kitty) Woods (niece of the bride), who looked extremely pretty in a gown of pure white silk, and picture hat, carrying in her hand a beautiful bouquet of choice spring flowers. After the ceremony, a reception was held at the home of the bride, where a sumptuous' breakfast was served, amongst other guests being the Rev. E. W. Tabor, Penygraig. j
Tabor, Penygraig. j The half-yearly meetings of the above church were held on Saturday, Sunday and Monday, when the Rev. J. Johns, Llanstephan. and the Rev. W. Salmon, Morriston, preached to crowded gather- ings. The progress of this church is very gratifying, and the pastor, the -R-eT D. Gwynfryn Evans, and helpmate, Mrs. Evans, are winning golden opinions in the district from all sections of the people. The church has not been long established, but the harmony and fraternal spirit per- vading all its activities promise it a great influence for good in Penygraig. When pastors will truly feed their flocks, suc- cess of. the right kind must follow. I
