The grounds have been beautifully laid out; seats have been erected at intervals, and the view of a charming expanse of sea and landscape is enjoyed therefrom. Barry Island is frequently visited during the season by as many as 30,000 people in one day, and the pleasure grounds, which extend along the whole of the sea front and bay, from Nell's Point on the one hand to Friars' Point on the other, are sure to prove highly popular and attractive.
