THE MYSTERIOUS DISAPPEARANCE…
THE MYSTERIOUS DISAPPEAR- ANCE OF TWO BARRY MEN. RECOVERY OF COOPER'S BODY. It will be remembered that on the 3rd of April (Easter Monday) a Barry pilot, named Edward Chappel, and a labourer, named Alexander Cooper, went for a sail in the Channel in a small boat. They reached Penarth safely, and started on the return run the same night, but nothing more was heard of them, the boat being picked up next day, bottom upwards, off Sully Island. On Wednesday afternoon last a man named Lowman was sailing in a boat near the Barry Breakwater, when he noticed the body of a man on the rocks. He obtained assistance, and the body was conveyed to the Barry Mortuary, where it was identified as that of Alexander Cooper, boatman, aged 24. of Fryatt-street, Barry Docks, one of the missing men. The body was in an advanced state of decomposition, there being practically no flesh on the head or face. An inquest will be held.
"I REALLY MUST USE VI-COCOA."
"I REALLY MUST USE VI-COCOA." Thousands of men and women, after reading the particulars published respecting the merits of Dr Tibbies' Vi-Cocoa, have been induced to become regular drinkers of this popular food beverage. Bub many have said to themselves, I really must use Vi-Cocoa," and have failed to do so. Why ? There is no more agreeable and inexpensive cocoa on the market. A 6d packet or a 9d or Is 6d tin is value indeed, for Vi-Cocoa does all that it is claimed to do, and there is no so-called concentrated or foreign cocoa in the world to equal it. It is highly nutritious, im- parts stamina to the system, is refreshing to the weary brain-worker, and recuperates the body after physical fatigue.
