WORKMEN'S OUTING.— The annual outing of the Barry Railway Company's locomotive workmen took place on Saturday last, when a large number of workmen and their wives and friends journeyed by special train to to Llantwit Major, starting from Barry at 10 a.m., and leaving Llantwit Major for the return journey at 8.30 p.m. An enjoyable day was spent, and the Cogan Military Band played selections of music during the day. Sports were held in the afternoon, and an excellent programme of bicycle and foot races was gone through in an efficient manner.
