AT a Meeting of the Parishioners of Wrexham, held on the 24th March, 1891, for the purpose of consider- ing the letter from the Venerable Archdeacon Howell, announcing his resignation of the Living of Wrexham, it was moved by Dr. H. V. Paliu (Mayor), seconded by Mr Overton, and unanimously resolved- That the rarishioners desire to record their apprecia tion of the eminent services of the Venerable Archdeacon, Howell as vicar of Wrexham for the past sixteen years and their grateful recognition of the many beneficial objects pro- moted and carried out by him during that period, and deeply regret that their esteemed Vicar has thought it necessary, for the reasons stated in his letter, to resign the living of Wrexham.
