NOTICE id hereby given, that application is in- jL? tended to be made to Parliament, in the next session, for an Act to incorporate a Company (hereinafter called the Company) with the follow- ing, or so-ne of the following, amongst other pow- ers; that is to say To authorize and empower the Company to make and maintain the railways following, or one of them, with all proper stations, approaches, works and conveniences connected therewith; that is to say: 1. A railway commcncmg by a junction with the Chester and Mold lirauch of the Chester and Holyhead Railway, at or near the loi miles post on the snid branch railway, and on the east side thereof, in the township of Bistree, parish of Mold, and County of Flint, and terminating by a junction with the Shrewsbury and Chester section of tho Great Western Railway, at or near the Ithos ddu level crossing on the said railway, in the township of Stansty, parish of Wrexham, and county of Denbigh, which said intended railway will be situate within the several parishes, townships, and extra- parochial or other places of Mold, liistree, Ilarts- heath, Hope, Cyuiniau, Caergwrlcy, Estyn, Rhan- berfedd, Hope Oweu, and Shordley, in the county of Flint, and Gresford, Gwersyllt, Wrexham; Acton, Stansty, and Broughton, in the county of Denbigh. 2. A railway commencing by a junction with the said intended railway, No. 1. in a certain field called Gibborn's Field, the property of Mrs Anne Potts, in the occupation of George Griffiths, in the township of Ilartsheatb, in the said parish of Mold, and terminating by a junction with the Buckley and Connah's Quay Railway, at a point about 840 yards from the Buckley terminus of such railway in the township of Ewloe Town, parish of Hawar- den, and county of Flint, which said intended rail- way will be situate within the sever.tl parishes, townships, and extra-parochial or other places of Mold, IlartsheatU, Bistree, Hawardcn, Ewloe Town, Pentrobia, and Bannel, all iu tho county of Flint. To enable the Company to lay down a second line of rails upou so much of the Chester aud Mold Branch of the Chester and Holyhead Railway as lies between the Mold and Padeswood Stations, on the said branch railway, and to execute and per- form all such works as may be necessary for that purpose; and to take land for the purposes of such second lino of rails, and also of a station to be con- structed at or near the said Ifold Station, and to construct and maintain a station thereon either juintly with the London and North-Western Railway Company, or separately, and to make and carry into effect arrangements and agreements with that Company for the construction, mainten- auee, use and management of such station. To purchase and take lands, houses, and other property, by compulsion or agreement, for the pur- poses of the said intended railways, station, and works, and to vary, repeal, or extinguish all exist- ing rights or privileges in any manner connected with such lands, houses, and property, which would in any manner impede or interfere with the con- struction, maintenance, or use of the said intended railways, station, and works, and to confer other rights and privileges, and to alter, divert, or stop up all turnpike and other roads, railways, tramways, aqueducts, bridges, weirs, canals, streams, and rivers, with which it may be necessary to interfere in the construction of the said intended railways and works. To levy tolls, rates, and charges for, or, in respect of the use of the said intended railwavs and works, and to grant exemptions from such tolls, rates, and charges. To enable the Buckley Railway Company to contribute towards the capital of the Company, and I to hold shares in the said proposed undertaking, or any part thereof, and to apply for such purposes the capital or funds which It 18 authorized to raise by any Act relating to the said Company, or to raise for the purposes aforesaid, if necessary, fur- ther sums of money by shares or mortgage, either with or without a preference or priority in the pay- ments of dividends or interest attached to such shares as the said Company may think fit. To enable the Company, and any Company working or using their undertaking, to run over and use, with engines, carriages, and waggons, so much of the Chester and Mold branch of the Chester and Holyhead Railway as lies between the junction therewith of the said intended railway, No. I, and the Mold Station, and to run into and use the said station also to run over and use in like manner so much of the Shrewsbury and Chester section of the Great Western Railway as lies between the junction therewith of the said intended railway, No. 1, and the Wrexham Station, and to run into and use the said station; also to run over and use in like manner the Buckley and Connahs Quay Railway, together with all sidings, stations, watering-places, and other works and conveniences connected with the said railways or portions of railways respective- ly, upon payment of such tolls, charges, rent, or other considerations as may be agreed upon, or as may be provided for and prescribed by the said in- tended Act. NOTIOP, IS IIEPBBY GIVEN-, that applica- tion is intended to be made to Parliament in the ensuing session, for an act for the following, or some of the following among other purposes, that is to say To alter, amend, extend, and enlarge the the whole, or some of the powers and provisions of "The Wem and Bronygarth Roads Act, 1860," or if need be, to repeal and consolidate the iatue alon" with such other enactments and provisions as may be authorised by Parliament. To make further provisions with reference to the roads mentioned in the said recited Act, and thereby constituted the Second District. To enable the Trustees acting in execution of the said recited Act, to make, con- struct, and maintain a new road, commencing near the Chirk Station of the Great Western Railway, in the parish of Chirk, at the northern fence or side of the highway leading from the village of Chirk to and past such station, and terminating by a junc- tion with the road Nfc I of the second district autho- rised by the said recited Act at its terminus near the point where the Great Western Railway, inter- sects the same Road No. i, which intended new road will be wholly in the township of Chirk, in the parish of Chirk, and County of Denbigh. To enable the said trustees to form and lay down a tramway or tramways on the roads forming Nos. 1, 2, aud 3, respectively, of the Second district of roads autho- rized, by the said recited Act, and also upon the said intended new road, or any of them, or any part thereof; and if necessary, to widen within the limits shewn upon the plans after mentioned, so much of the said road No. 1 authorized by the said recited Act, as is situate between its terminus in the parish of Chirk, and County of Denbigh, near the point where the Great Western Railway crosses such road, and another point in the same parish aud county marked five miles and six furlongs on the plans of the said road No. 1, deposited with the Clerk of the Peace for the County of Djnbigh, with reference to the said recited Act, and to take and purchase by compulsion, or otherwise, under the powers of the said recited Act, any lands or houses which may be required for the ptttpose of widening j the portion of the road. so proposed to be widened, and also to take by compulsion lands and houses, for the purposes of the new road proposed to be au- thoriscd as aforesaid, and to vary or extinguish any rights or privileges connected with all lands or houses so proposed to be taken, which llliht inter- fere with the purposes aforesaid, or any of them. To enable the Trustees to levy tolls, rates and duties, in respect of the use of the said new road, so proposed to be authorized, and of the said intended Tramway or Tramways, and to confer, vary, or ex- tinguish exemptions from payment of the same, and also to make all necessary provisions for the main- tenance, repair, and improvement of the said road so to be widened, and the proposed new road and Tramway or Tramways, and to authorise the Trus- tees, or their lessees after mentioned, to make bye. laws, rules, and regulations, as to the working and use of the same.—To enable the Trustees to bor- row from the Cambrian Slate Company (Limited) money for the completion of the roads authorized by the said recited Act, for widening the said road proposed to be widened, and for the formation of the said intended New Road, Tramway or Tram- ways, on the credit of the tolls authorised by the said recited Act, and of the tolls, rates, and duties, to be authorized bv the said intandarl A r>t cl a i f!m«« -L& of them, and to make all such other provisions a9 may be necessary for the regulation of the said trust, and the application and I appropriation of the re -enue thereof, and to confer, vary, or extinguish ot:er rights and privileges. To enable the Trustees to grant to the Cambrian Slate Company (Limited,) the right and power to lay down at their own expense along the entire length, or along any shorter portion of the roads comprised in the tsecond district created by the said recited Act, and the road so proposed to be authorised, a Tramway or Tramways for the exclu- sive use of the said Company, for such term, upon such conditions and subject to such limitations and restrictions as by the said intended Act shall be provided. To confirm a certain contract, agreement or arrangement, between the Trustees and the said Cambrian Slate Company (Limited,) made or in- tended to have been made on or about the 21st day of October, 1861, relating to the Tramways pro posed to be laid down on the roads now authorized or some of them, atd to authorize the Trustees a 1 the said company to enter into further coiitraocj and agreements relating thereto, and to the Tram- way proposed to be laid down on the new road so proposed to be authorized.
