THIS Company is formed for the purpose of ac- Tqui.ring, working, and developing the Centra Mmera, Cae Pant, Twelve Apostles, and Ragman Lead Mmes unitedly. The properties consist of valuable mining rights extending over upwards of 300 acres, leased from tha Duke of Westminster and others for 21 years at moderate royalties, together with the engine-houses, plant, .ad- machinery in connection therewith. The mines are well-known, and are situate at Minera near Wrexham, in the county of Denbigh. The princi- pal Miaera lodes intersect the properties, and in con- sequence of the workings being on the rise they cannot be endangered by water difficulties. The Minera Mineral Branch Kail way passes within a few yards of a portion of the property. Every facility for transit is thus given. The consolidation of the properties under the pro- prietorship of one large Joint-stock Company will not only prevent the occurrence of the difficulties which too frequently arise amongst a number of small ad- venturers by reason of the independent nature ot their interests, but will ensure the mines being worked un- der one management in a thoroughly harmonious and economical manner. Numerous veins pass through the property in a. north-westerly direction, as s hown on the plans. Amongst others may be mentioned the lied Lode. This lode passes through the adjoining property. It has yielded immense quantities of lead ore, and has proved the richest vein belonging to the Miuera Mining Company. On the 20th November last the lead ore was laid bare in the 50 yard level in the Twelve Apostles Mine. This level is being driven to connect the Engine Shaft and the Twelve Apostles Shaft, and will, it i- ex- pected, be completed in about two months, when tha raising of the ore will be commenced. The vendor, being confident that with energetic management a large profit will be made, will deposit £5,000 worth of fully paid up shares with the Com- pany's bankers for the purpose of guaranteeing an average minimum dividend of 10 per cent per annum for the first two years. The directors h ive every confidence in recommend- ing this undertaking to their friends and the public Mr Robert Marland, jun., of Bower Colliery, Hollin- wood, one of the principal shareholders, who has had large practical mining experience, having consented ta become the managing director. The following agreements have been entered into, viz.—An agreement dated the 15th December, 1874, between John Storey Davies of the one part, and tha Company of tht other part; and an agreement, dated the 26th January, 1875, made between the said John Storey Davies of the on 3 part, and the Company of the other part. Copies of the above agreements, together with plans of the property, can be inspected at the office of the Company's Solicitor, where copies of the memorandum and articles of association may also be seen. Applications for shares, accompanied by a deposit of 10s. per share, to be made to the bankers or to the Secretary, Mr M. H. Sumner, at the registered offices of the Company, 16, Brown-street, Manchester. 460r RICHARD MOSES, DECEASED.
