The course of study is eitnei Classical, having for its special object the preparation necessary for the Classical Curriculum of the English Universities; or Mathematical and Scientific, based on the require- ments of the Mathematical and Science Schools o Oxford and Cambridge, and of the Indian Civil Ser vice and Engineering Departments; or General, the aim of which is to offer efficient preparation for the various Legal and Medical Preliminary Examina tions, and for Mercantile Pursuits.
