(hereinafter called the Company") for an  for the following purposes, or some of them (that n to ) Vo enable the Company to make and maintain a Dock, in the township of Gersten and parish of Childwall, in the county of Lancaster, on the foreshore of the River Mersey and on lands adjoining thereto, and to be situate near to and to the north-west of the Garston Dock of the Saint Helen's Canal and Railway Company now vested in the Company, with all propei, entrances, cuts, locks, basins, graving and repairing docks, gates, sluice., sewers, dam., pier., jetties, quays, wharves, warehouses, stages, staiths, (Irol)m, slips, stairs, walls, bridges, itpproaclxes. tramways, sidings, works, and conveniences coiinected therewith, or for the purposes thereof; and to Supply the said Dock and Work, with water from the River Mersey. To make provision for the management, use, regula- tion, and protection of the intended dock or docks or other works, and the regulation and control of shipping, persons, animals, and goods frequenting or using or ap- proaching to or departing from thejame, and the pilotage of shipping, the appointment, regulatiois, dismissal and payment of a dockmaster, pilots, and other officers, and the making and enforcing of bye-laws with reference thereto, and the imposition of penalties and restrictions To vary the tolls, rate., dues. and charges which -the Upper Mersey Dues Trustees," and the Mersey Docks and Harbour Board respectively, or any other bodies or body, are by Act of Parli iment, eharter, prescription. usage, or otherwise now authorised to levy, X, or collect on or in respect of shipping, goods, animals, and persons, or for pilotage or otherwise within the Port of Liverpool or the River Mersey, upon terms and conditions to be determin- ed or prescribed by or under the provisions of the intend- ed Act, and to confer exemptions from the payment of such tolls, rates, dues, and charges respectively, and also to empower the Company on the one hand and the U Waer Menev Dues Trustees and the Mersey Docks and Har- Vtur Board respectively or such other bodies or body as aforesaid oil the other, from time to time to enter into contracts and agreement., or otherwise to make provision in the intended Act, for or with reference to the com- mutation and extinguishment, either wholly or partially, of all or any of such tolls, rates, dues, and charges res- pectively To enable the Company to make a new road in the township, of Gorton and Newton, in the parish of Man- chester, in the county of Lancaster, to commence by a junction with Kirkmanshulnie Lane, seventy yards or thereabouts south-west of the point where the said lane passes under the Company's Railway at Longsight Sta. tion, and to terminate one hundred and sixty yards or thereabout north-west of the said junction with Kirk- manshuline Lane To enable the Company to make a new road in the township of West Derby and parish of Walfron-on-the- Hill, in the countv of Lancaster, to commence near the point where the public road known as 8pekeland Road unites with a private road belonging to John Robin- son Renner and William Hand, and to terminate by a junction with that portion of the public road called run- nel Road, which is now in course of construction, at a point two hundred yards or thereabouts south of the bridge carrying the last-mentioned road over the Com- pany s Railway, and to enable the :Company to stop up, discontinue, and extinguish all rights of way over, an (^ap- propriate to the use of the Company so much of the said =(, Spekeland Road at lies between the said last- motioned bridge a?d the junction of the .aid road with the proposed new road, and also to stop up, discontinue, and extinguish all rights of way over the public footpath leading from Tunnel Road to Smithdown Road, otherwise Smithdown Lane, or some portion thereof, and to appro- Jiriate to the use of the Company so much of the said footpath as lies between its junction with Tunnel Road and its intersection by the proposed new road. and to vest the remainder of the said footpath in such person or per- eeas as shall be designated by the inteadetl Act To enable the Company to make a new street or road in the township and parieh of Liverpool, in the county of Lancaster, in direct continuation of Vincent Street East, commencing at the south end of that street, and termin. ating by a junction with Copperas Hill, and to enable the Company to stop up and discontinue and extinguish all rights of way over, and to appropriate to the use of the Company to much of the street in the same town- ship and parish called Hotham Street as extends for seventy yards or thereabouts southwards from Sydney Street To enable the Company te make within the town- ship of Suttou and parish of Preecot in the county of chip of Suttoii and IZZ a hereinafter mentione4l (that Lancaster, the new roads hereinafter mentioned (that is to say) A road to commence near the point where Moss Lane otherwise Norman's Lane uuites with the road from Penlake Lane to Burton Wood at Rose Vale, and to terminate bv a junction with the public road leading from Bold and Marshall Cross to Sutton Oak near to the house known as Porch House A road to commence by a junction with the last- mentioned intended road near the commencement thereof, and to terminate by a junction with Baxter's Lane or Junction Road, at a point about one hundred yards north-west of the crossing of the said lane or road by the Company's Railway A road to commence by a junction with Moss, otherwise Norman's Lane, at a point about forty yards north-east of the crossing of the said Lane by the Company's Railway, and to terminate by a junction with the road which passes by Oak Inn, at a point about two hundred yards west of the crossing of that road by the Company's Railway To empower the Company to stop up and discontinue as public thoroughfares and extinguish all rights of way over and appropriate to the purposes of the Company the site of the public road from the point where the Liverpool and Manchester Railway cronses the Saint Helen's Railway, and also so much of the public road called Church Street, or Pecker's Hill Lane, as extends from the last mentioned road across the Liverpool and Manchester Railway, and the Branch Railway from Saint Helen's Junction to Saint Helen's, including the two level crossings over the Railways and sidings; and also so much of the site of the public road called Baxter's Lane, or Junction Road, as the Company may consider to have become unnecessary by reason of the construction of the proposed new roads, or any of them To empower the Compan,-tó divert and alter the line and levels of the road, in the township of Sutton and parish of Prescot, called Gerard's Lane, for a distance of one hundred and ten yards or thereabouts southward of its crossing by the Company's Railway to a distance of one hundred and twenty yards or thereabouts northward of such crossing, so as to carry the said road under the Company's Railway instead of on the level thereof, and to appropiate to the purposes of the Company the site of the existing level crossing To empower the Company to divert and alter the line and levels of the road in the township of Sutton, and parish of Prescot, leading from Leech Hall to Bold Copper Works, for a distance of ninety yards or there- abouts westward of its crossing by the St. Helen's RaU- way of the Company, to a distance of ninety yards or thereabouts eastward of such croasing; so as to carry the said road under the Company's Railway instead of on the level thereof, and to appropriate to the purposes of the Company the site of the existing level crossing To empower the Company to stop up and discontinue the level crossing of the road called Moss Lane or Nor- man's Lane by the Railway of the Company, and to ap- propriate to the purposes of the Company the site of auch existing level crossirg: To enable the Company to make a new road wholly in the township of Newton in Makerfield, in the parish of Winwick, in the county of Lancaster, to commence by a junction with Wargrave Lane, near to and on the north-west side of the level crossing of that lane by the Liverpool and Manchester Railway of the Company, and to terminate by a junction with Wargrave Lane at fifteen chains or thereabouts south-east to-the point where that lane is crossed on the level by the Grand Junction Railway of the Company, and to stop up and discontinue and extinguish all rights of way over so much of Wargrave Lane as lies between the first-men- tioned point of junction therewith of the intended road and the easterly side of the Grand Junction Railway, and to appropriate to the purposes of the Company so much thereof as crosses their Railway on the level To empower the Company to make an alteration or deviation within the township of Moetyn, in the parish of Whitford, in the county af Flint, of the turnpike road leading from Greenfield to Rhuddlan, to commence one hundred and seventy yards or thereabouts east of the point where the Chester and Holyhead Railway crosses the said turnpike road on the level, and to terminate one hundred and sixty yards or thereabouts west of the said level crossing: „ To empower the Company to make an alteration or deviation wholly in the parish of Llanfairfechan, in the county of Carnarvon, of the existing road leading from the village of Llanfairfechan to the sea-beach there to commence at or near the north-east end of the bridge which carries the turnpike road leading from Conway to Aber over the Llanfairfechan river, and to ter. minate on the seabeaeh at or unmedlately adJOlDlDlng the eastern bank of the said Llanfairfechan river, and to .top up and discontinue a* a 'onstMC ? bridge over the saId river for the pur- pose of obtaining a new approach to their ?tion at ? anfsirfechan from the said road when du erted: To Mthorise and connrm an alteration or deviation made by the Company in the Shrewsbury and Holyhead turn- Ske road, in and near to their passenger station at Holy- Elead in the Parish of Holyhead, in the county of Angle- aey, for the purpose of carrying the said turnpike road over the Railway instead of on the level thereof, and to confirm all acts of the company in relation thereto To empower the Company to make an alteration or de- viation within the township and parish of Colwich, in the county of Stafford, of the turnpike road leading from Great Haywood to Rugeley for the purpoM of carrying he said road under the Company's Railway at the Colw Station, instead of on the level thereof; such alteration or deviation to extend from about one hundred and  yarch south east of the present level crowing of the said road by the Railway near the Colwich Station toabout oue hundred and thirty yards northwest of luch levl crossing: and to stop up and discontinue as a public thoroughfare and extinguish all rights of way ov", and appropi?iste to the pmposes of the Company, the existing turnpike road between the aforesaid points, or some part thereof ?en?Nethe Company to stop up and discontinue and extinguish all rights of way over so much of the footpath now passing through the Penmaenmawr Station of the Company in the parish of Dwygyfylchi in the county of Carnarvon as extends from the South-east side of the Railway to the beach there To enable the Company to stop up and discontinue as a thoroughfare and extiLguilh all rights of way over so much of the public footpath in the townships of Cheadle Mose- ly and Cheadle Bulkeley, in the p»nsh of Cheadle in the county of Chester leading from Hollows Lane to the Stock- port and Cheadle turnpike road, as lies between its Junction with Hollows Lane on the north side of the Railway from Stockport to Cbeadle now in course of contraction, and its crossing of the last named Railway on the southerly side, aud in lieu thereof to make a footpath on the lauds of the Company along the south. erly side of the said Railway between the existing foot- path and Hollows Lane near the bridge carrying the Rail- way over the said lane; all in the said townships and parish To empower the Company to stop up and discontinue as a thoroughfare and extinguish all rights of way over, and appropriate to the purposes of the Company, so much of the public footpath in the I ownship and parish of War- rington, in the county of Lancaster, whichiruns along the north side of their Warrington and Garston Railway as extends for a distance eastwards of four hundred yards or thereabouts, from, the point where the same footp-tth is crossed by the main line of the Company, and to cons- truct a new footpath in lieu thereof between the point a aforeaaid 8^ To emP.wer the Company to construct additional or enlarged arches or openings under Rmk Quay Road in the township and parish of Warrington, in the county of Lancaster, on each side of the arch through which the main line of the Company's Railway at present passes un der that road and also ad litional or enlarged arches or openings under the road in the same township and parish called Froghall Lane on each side of the arch through which the main line of the Company's Railway at present passes under that road. To empower the Company to construct additional arche. or openings under the turnpike road leading from Nantwich to Wheelock, in the township of Crewe and parish of Barthomley, in the county of Chester, on each side of the arch through which the Company's Railway at present passes under that road To empower the Company to convert into open cutting the followiug portions of the tunnel between their Lime Street Station and their Edge Hill Station, in the town- ships and parishes of Liverpool and Walton-on-the-Hill and West Derby, or some of them, in the county of Lan- taster (that is to say) Between the East side of.Saint Andrew s Street and the west side of Brownlow Street, in the township and parish of Liverpool; Between the east side of Bedford Street North and the west side of Crown Street, in the same town- ship and parish Between the east side of Smithdown Lane and the west side of Mason Street, in the township of West Derby, and parish of Walton-on-the-Hill; Between a point thirty yards or thereabouts east of Kinglake Street and the west side of Duke Street South, in the township of West Derby, and parish of Walton-on-the-Hill Between the east side cf Woodside Street and the west side of Tunnel Road, in the township of West Derby, and parish of Walton-on-the-Hill: And to empower the Company to construct and main- tain bridges or viaducts for carrying over their Rail- way the streets following (that is to say) Gill Street, Great Newton Street, Peach Streeet, Chat- ham Street, Vine Street, Layland Street, Chatsworth Street, andTunnel Road, and also to empower the Com pany to stop up and discontinue as public thoroughfares so much of the several streets following, or home of them, as extend, for the distance of ten yards or there- about* on the one side of the said tunnel to the distance of ten yards or thereabouts on the other side of the said tunnel (that is to say): Back Gill Street, Pembroke Street, Back Peach Street, Back Peach Street East, Jas- per Street, and Little Vine Street, and also to take away and discontinue the whole of Amber Street and the whole of Westminster Street as now existing And to empower the Company to purchase by com. pulsion or agreement such of the lands, houses, and buildings situate over and on each side of the before- mentioned portions of the said tunnel, and all such ways, passages, and easement., in, through, or over the said lands as may be requisite for effecting the objects afore- said, or any of them To authorise and sanction the eonatruction and main- tenance of the Vale of Clwyd Railway on the level across the road in the township of Towyn, in the parish of Aber- gele, in the county of Denbigh, leading from the public road from Abergele to Foryd to the Rhyl Bridge over the Clwyd Foryd River To enable the Company to acquire, loy, compulsion or agreement, lands, houses, and property for all or any of any of the purposes aforesaid, and also tite lands, houses, and property hereinafter described or referred to (that is to say): Certain lands, houses, and property situate in the township ef Newton in Makerfield, in the parish of Winwick, in the county of Lancaster, situate near the Earlestown Junction and Newton Junc- tion of the Liverpool and Manchester Railway of the Company with the Grand Junction Railway of the Company; Certain lands, houses, and property situate in the township of West Derby, in the parish of Wal- ton-on-the-Hill, in the county of Lancaster, situate on the south side of Spekeland Road, and on the east side of Tunnel Road now in course of con- struction, and adjoining each of such roads; Certain lands, houses, and property situate in the township of Garston, in the parish of Childwall, in the said county of Lancaster, situate on the east side of the existing Garston Dock, and on the north side of the River Mersey; Certain lands, houses, and property situate in the township of Sutton, in the parish of Prescot, in the said county of Lancaster, bounded on the north-west side by the Saint Helen's Railway of the Company, on the south side by the Liverpool and Manchester Railway of the Company, and on the north-out side by the Railway forming a junc- tion between the Saint Helen's Railway and the Liverpool and Manchester Railway; Certain lands, houses, and property in the township of Sutton, and parish of Prescot aforesaid, situate on the north-west side of the Saint Helen's Rail- way, and three hundred and thirty yards or there- abouta north of the point where the Saint He- len's Railway crosses the Liverpool and Manches- ter Railway Certain lands, houses, and property in the township of Sutton, and parish of Prescot aforesaid, situate on the south side of the Liverpool and Manchester Railway, and on the north side of a public road called Penlake Lane, near the junction of the Saint Helen's Railway with the Liverpool and Manchester Railway; Certain lands, houses, and property in the township and parish of Liverpool, in the county of Lan- caster, lying between Waterloo Road, Great Ho- ward Street, Stuart Street, and Oil-street, toge- ther with the site of the said street called Stuart Street; Certain lands. houses, and property situate in the same parish, bounded on the north by the pro- perty of the Company, and on the south by the public road leading from Newport Pagnell to Stony Stratford, the eastern boundary of which com- mences at a distance of 285 yards or thereabouts from the point where the road leading from New- port Pagnell to Stony Stratford intersects Creed Street and Bury Street; Certain lands, houses, and property, situate in the township of Blakenhall, in the parish of Wy- bunbury, in the county of Chester, situate on the north-easterly side of the Company's Rail- way, and south-east of the bridge over the Com- pany's Railway called Den Bridge; Certain lands, houses, and property, situate in the township and parish of Liverpool, in the county of Lancaster, situate between Lord Nelson Street, Pudsey Street, and Hotham street, and land and houses fronting the south side of London Road, and to make a communication by means of a bridge or archway under Lord Nelson Street from the land so proposed to be acquired to Lime Street Station at Liverpool belonging to the Company; Certain Lands, houses and property, in the Parish of Holy Cross and Saint Giles, Shrewsbury, in the county of Salop, situate near the Joint Station, at Shrewsbury, and on the North side of the Bridge which carries the Shrewsbury and Hereford Railway over the Abbey Foregate, and on the West side of the Level crossing by the Shrewsbary and Birmingham Railway of the public road leading from the Abbey Foregate to Underdale. Certain lands, houses, and property, situate in the parish of Saint Mary, Battersea, in the county of Surrey, lying on the loutherlyside of and adjoin- ing the West London Extension Kailway, on the easterly side of and adjoining Falcon Lane; Certain lands, houses, and property situate in the parish of Saint Paucras, in the county of Middle- sex, lying on the east side of and adjoining the Hampstead Junction Railway between Prince of Wales Road and Grafton street. Certain lands, houses, and property situate in the parish of Willesden, in the county of Middlesex, on the north side of and adjoining the Company's Railway and on the west side of the road leading from Acton to Willesden and near to the Com- pany's Willesden Station Certain lands, houses, and property situate in the parish of Abergavenny, in the county of Mon- mouth, situate on the west side of the Merthyr, Tredegar, and Abergavenny Railway, and about a quarter of a mile south-west of the Brecon Road Station on that Railway Certain lands, houses, and property situate in the parish of Llantilio Pertholey, in the county of Monmouth, situate on the west side of the West Midland line of the Great Western Railway, and near to and adjoining and on the north side of the junction of the Merthyr, Tredegar, and Aber- gavenny Junction Railway with the said West Midland Railway; Certain lands and property situate in the parish of Llanfairfechan, in the county of Carnarvon, on the north side of the Chester and Holyhead Railway, and parallel with and adjoining thereto; and another strip of land in the same parish ad- joining and on the south side of the said Chester and Holyhead Railway; Certain land and property in the parish of Bangor, in the said county of Carnarvon, situate partly over the Belmont Tunnel of the Chester and Ho- lyhead Railway, and on each side of that Railway, and adjoining and parallel therewith To empower the Company to acquire by compulsion or agreement all existing rights, interests, and easements in or over the road belonging or claimed to belong to Miss Mary Matilda Crawley, leading from the approach road to the Company's Treboth Station to Britannia Park, all in the parish of Bangor, in the county of Car- narvon, for the purpose of dedicating the said road to the public use To make provision for the repair of all or any of the new roads to be constructed under the authoriyof the intended Act, by the same persons and by the same means as other roads in the parishes, townships, or places within which the intended roads respectively will be situate, are for the time being legally repair- able. To vary and extinguish all existing rights and privi- leges connected with any lands and houses proposed to be purchased or appropriated for the purposes of the in- tended Act which would in any manner impede or inter- fere with such purposes, or any of them, and to confer other rights and privileges: To authorise the crossing, stopping-up, altering, or di. verting, whether temporarily or permanently, of all turn- pike roads, highways, tramways, canals, rivers, and streams within or adjoining to the aforesaid parishes and townships which it may be necessary to cross, step up, alter, or divert in executing the several purposes of the intended Act: To authorise the Company t. levy tolls, rates, and duties for or in respect of the said works, and also to levy tolls, rates, dues, wharfage and other charges on shipping and an goods, animals, and persons at, upon, or in respect of the intended dock or doeks, basins, works, and conveniences, and to grant exemptions from the pay- ment of such tolls/rates, and duties: To extend the time limited by The London and North Western Railway (Lines near Liverpool) Act, 186 1," for the completion of the bridge over the River Mersey at Runcorn thereby authorised, and the Railway and works in connection therewith To extend the time for the sale of all or any lands ac- quired by the Company which are not or eventually may not be required for the purposes of their undertaking, and to confer further powers on the Company with rela- tion thereto; and for selling or disposing of the said lands or parts thereof on chief rent, or for granting leases thereof, or of any parts thereof To repeal so much of the 53rd section of The Man- chester, Sheffield, and Lincolnshire Railway (Extension to Liverpool) Act, 1865," as authorises or empowers the Manchester, Sheffield, and Lincolnshire Railway Compa- ny to run over, work, and use, with their engines, car- riages, and servants, and for the purposes of their traffic, so much of the Londonand North W ISlern Railwayas lies between the London Road Station of that Railwayand the junction of that Railway with the Manchester, Sheffield, and Lincolnshire Railway at Ardwick, with the use of the junction and junetion points connecting the London and North Western Railway with the Lancashire and Yorkshire Railway near Ardwick Station, and also so much of the London and North Western Railway as lies between the junction ot the Manchester South Junction and Altrincham Railway with the London and North Western Railway near the bridge which carries that line over the River Irwell, in the parish of Manchester, and the Ordsall Lane Station of the Company, together with the use of such station, and the booking-offices, sidings, and conveniences thereof, and all or any other of the provisions of the said Act having reference to the matters aforesaid To enable the Company to pass over and use with their engines and carriages of every description, and with their clerks, officers, and servants, upon such terms and con- ditions, and on payment of such tolls, rates, and charges, or other consideration as may be agreed upon, or as, failing agreement, may be settled and determiaed under the provisions of the intended Act, all or any of the Railways in the town of Burton-upon-Trent, belonging or reputed to belong to the Midland Railway Company, together with the stations, watering places, water, book- ing offices, warehouses, wharfs, sidings, works, and con- veniences connected therewith respectively, and to confirm any agreement now or hereafter made between the Company and the Midland Railway Company in re- lation thereto T« enable the Company to pass over and use with their engines, and carriages of every description, and with their clerks, officers, and servants upon such term* and conditions, and on payment of such tolls, rates, and charges, or other consideration as may be agreed upon, or as, failing agreement, may be settled and determined under the provisions of the intended Act, so much of the Railways of the Sirhowy Railway Company as are situate between Merthyr and Tredegar, together with the station of that Company at Tredegar, and all other stations, watering places, water, booking offices, ware- houses, wharves, sidings, works, and conveniences con- nected therewith respectively, and to confirm any agree- ment now or hereafter made between the Company and the Sirhowy Railway Company in relation thereto: To provide for the vesting in the Company as part of their undertaking of the undertaking of the dissolution of the Stockport Disley and Whaley Bridge Railway Company, and the winding up of their affairs To provide for the vesting in the Company as part of their undertaking of so much of the agreements with reference to all or any of the matters aforesaid, and to confirm any con- tracts or agreements already entered into between the Companies in reference thereto: To empower the Company, and the owners for the time being of and for other persons interested in the Railway in the parish of Mold and the townshhips of Leeswood, Tryddyn, Nerquis, and Broncoed, or some or one of them, in the county of Flint, known as the Nerquis Railway, to agree for the purchase and acquisi- tion by the Company of such Railway for such consider- ation and upon such terms and conditions as shall be or shall have been agreed on between the Company and such owners or persons as aforesaid; and to provide for the vesting of the said Railway, and the lands, works, and conveniences belonging thereto or between their re- spective Railways, and the fixing and ascertaining, and the division and apportionment between the said Com- panies of the tolls, rates, and charges arising from such traffic; and with referenee to the user by either of the said companies, of portions of the undertakings of theother of such companies, and to confirm any agreements already made between the said Companies in reference to any of the matters aforesaid To confirm and give effect to a certain agreement be- tween the Company and the Furness Railway Company, dated the 16th day of May, 1865, in reference to the NOTICE is Hereby Given, that application 1.1 is intended to be made to Parliament in the next Session, for an Act to enable the Cambrian Kailways Company (hereinafter called "The Company"), to make and maintain the following Railways, wlurves, piers, shipping and landing places, roads, bridges, quays, embankments, harbour, and other works and conve- niences connected therewith, that is to say- A Railway (hereinafter called Railway No. 1) com- mencing by a junction with the authorised Railway of the Company, in or near a certain field or close in the parish of Abererch, in the County of Carnarvon, and shewn upon the Tithe Map of the said parish, and there- in numbered 1617, and passing thence through or into the several parishes following, that is to say-Abererch, Deneio, Llanor, and Penrhos, all in the County of Carnarvon, and terminating by a junction with the au- thorised line of the Company, in the said parish of Pen- rhos, in or near a field shewn on the Tithe Map of the said parish of Penrhos, and therein numbered 262. Wharves, shipping and landing places, and other conveniences in connection with the proposed Rail- way, No. 4 extending south of the termination thereof, along high water mark, for a distance of 400 yards, all in the said parish of Llanengan. Ile To enable the Company to purchase so much of the sands and lands as are situated between the old e e bankment which connects the Counties of Carnarvon and Merioneth and the Railway of the Company across the Traeth Mawr, upon such tennsat.d conditions and for such consideration* (pecuniary or otherwise), as have been or may be agreed on between the owner or owners thereof and the Company, or as may be fixed and de- termined by the said intended act. To enable the Company to construct and maintain upon the said sands and lands, quays, wharves and other works and conveniences. To alter the course of the River Glaslyn in the said Parish of Llanfrothen, by carrying the same by means of a cutting "through the rock called and known as Garth Plasuewydd, and to divert the waters of that River through such cutting: and to construct aud maintain sluice, gates, and other works within the last mentioned cutting, and also a Bridge over the said cutting. To stop up, discontinue, and extinguish all rights of way in respect of the public road leading from the town of Newtown, over the Railway of the Company to Brimmon Lane, and lands of the Rev. Also powers of deviation from the line and le- vels of the proposed Railways, as shewn on thejplans and sections hereinafter referred to, and to stop up, remove, alter, or divert, temporarily or permanently, all turn- pike and other roads and highways, railways, tramways, bridges, rivers and other waters, watercourses of every description, natural or artificial, sewers, pipes, buildings, and works, within o.r near to any of the several parishes, townships, or places aforesaid, which it may bcnecssary or convenient to stop up, remove, alter or divert for any of the purposes of the intended Act, and to vary or extin- guish all existing rights or privileges connected with any lands or buildings, to be purchased or taken under the powers of the Act, or with any road, highway, rail- way, tramway, bridge, river, watercourse, sewer, pipe, building, or works, to be stopped up, removed, altered, or diverted, as aforosaid, or which could or might other- wise prevent or obstruct any object or purpose of the- Act being fully ettected, and to authorise the levying of tolls, rates, duties, and charges, and to confer, vary, or extinguish exemptions from payment ef tolls, ratea, duties and charges, and other rights and privileges, and to authorise the Company to raise further sums of money by the creation of Shares or Stock, with or without guarantee, preference, or priority in payment of interest or dividends, and by borrowing on mortgage or other- wise, as well for the purposes of the said railways and works, as for the general purposes of the Company, and with powers for the better arrangement, consolidation, and regulatiou of the capital, stock, shares, mortgage, and other debts of the Company, or some of them, or some part thereof, respectively, and the application of all or auy of the money taised, or to be raised thsreby. To extend the time for the sale by the Company of all or any lands acquired by them, which are not or evon. tually may not be required for the purposes of their un- dertaking and to confer further powers on the Company with reference to the sale and granting of leuss of lands held by the Company or otherwise in relation thereto. And it is proposed by the said intended Act to obtain powers to enter into and carry into effect arrangements and agreements for the sale and purchase or lease partly or wholly to the Company «f the undertaking works, lands, tenements, hereditaments, real and personal estate and effects, powers, rights and privileges, or any parts or shares thereof respectively of the Porthdiulleyn Harbour Company. To levy tolls, rates, duties, and charges, for or in rt spect of the use of the said intended railways and worki, to confer exemption from the payment of tuch tola, rates, and duties, and to confer, vary, or extinguish other rights and privileges And it is proposed by the said intended Act, to re- peal, alter, or-amend, all or some of the provisions of of the several local and personal Acts following, or ioule them, that is to say, 27 and 28 Vict. caps. 97, 147, 101, 262, and 263, and 28 and 29 Vict. caps. 277, 2SJ, 314 291, relating to the Cambrian Railways Company- All the Aberystwith and Welsh Coast Railway Acts of 1861, 1862, 1863, 1864, and 1865, and 46 Geo. 3 cap. 34, relating to the Porthdynlleyn Harbour Company. And Notice is hereby also given, that a plan and Mo- tion in duplicate of the intended Railways and works, and of the lands to be taken under the compulsory po- wers of the Act a Book of Reference to the plan, con- taining the names of the owners and lessee*, or of the reputed owners and lessees, and of the occupiers of aueh lands; a published Map, with the lines of the Rail"1!" delineated thereon, shewing their general course or direc- tion, wilt be deposited for public inspection with the Clerk of the Peace for the County of Salop, at his Office in Shrewsbury, and with the Clerk of the Peace for th1 County of Montgomery, at his Office in ?ebhpool, an with the Clerk of the Peace for the County at his Office at Aberystwyth, and with the Clerk of the Peace for the County of Merioneth, at his Office » Dolgelley, and with the Clerk of the Peace for t I County of Carnarvon, at hie Office at Carnal-Von; •" that so much of the said plan, aeeuon, and Book ot ference, as relates to any parish or extra,parochlal plact in which any part of the Railways, or of the lane1 10 be taken under the compulsory powers of the Act, u^ may be situate, will be deposited for public inspectil" in the case of a parish, with the parish Clerk of Inch parish, at his residence, and in the case of an ext parochial place, with the parish Clerk of some Paloh adjoining thereto, at his residence and that aU 81' deposits will be made on or before the 30th day of O¡ vember instant, and will be accompanied with a copy of this Notice.
