We were informed that no business was transacted, and the meet- ing was adjourned till a future day not far hence, in order, we presume, to piMe the Directors in a position to announce the formal opening of the line to Cor- wen. BoMDoyQcARDlANS.—The following were present at the meeting of guardians on Monday last :-Rev. David Roberts (in the chair); Rev. John GrifBth, Llan- ynys; Rev. J. O. Jones, Uangwyfan; J. J. Beneroft, Esq R. G. Johuson, Esq.; R. J. Farbridge, Esq.; and Mr. David Owens. The business transacted was entirely of a routine character. Out relief expended during past fortnight, JE186 18s. Od. vagrants relieved 17; paupers in the workhouse, 82,—corresponding period last year, 89.
