MENNIWRE NICHOLS, HOWES, YOUNG, ALDER, & N have received instructions to' SELL by ?A?U"C!T?I?ON?, ? at The Mart, Tokenhouse Yard, London, on TUESDAY, the 6th June, 1905, at 3.30 o'clock in the afternoon, all those verv valuable SLATE QUARRIES Called the "TYBCH SLATE QUAKRIMS (and comprising Upper and Lower Tyrch Quarries) and Lands, situate in. the Parish of Monachlogddu, in the County of Pem- broke, and the right to quarry for slate under about 282 acres of land. The leasehold portion of the property is held for the unexpired term of 41 years, and is subject to the pay- ment of an annual rent of C150, but terminable by the Lessees upon giving six calendar months' notice. Whilst ranking amongst the best greens, the colour of the slates is a beautiful silver grey. This, in combina- tion with their unexceptionable quality, places these slates in a quite unique position, as there are no other slates on the market of the same colour which can claim the same quality. They are also very close grained and durable, and are in good request amongst architects for Church and other work where an ornamental as well as thoroughly serviceable roof is required. The supply of slates is practically inexhaustible, and the slates can be cut to any size necessary. There is a capital opening for making this property into a large, and lucrative business, because, as previously mentioned, the quality of the goods is excellent, the supply unquestionable, and there has hitherto been a ready market for the slates as fast as they have been produced. 1 he Quarries are now being worked by the Vendors as a going concern, and possession will be given on com- pletion of the purchase. The purchaser shall take the machinery, plant, fixtures, and other effects used by the Vendors in and about the Quarries (an inventory of which may be obtained upon application) at a price to be named by the Auctioneers at the Auction. The purchaser shall in addition take at a valuation to- be made by the Auctioneers the stock of the manu- factured Slates which may be at the Quarry and at Crymmych Arms Station on the day of completion of the purchase.
