In 188S she married a boarding-bouse keeper named Brown, who died on the 8 h of September last. When her first husband died she had a quantity or furniture, aud L102 in money, with which she bought oi hor goods. The day after Drown died tbe defendant, who was the cxcculor under the will, said all the goods belonged to him as execu- tor, and lie would fit hor out IIIto the atrctt. On the Tuesday morning, the day of the funeral, an inventory of tlie furniture was taken, And when shucamebHck froin tlie cemetery she found that most of the things had been tikon to Mr. Bradley's saleroom. He hold that Roberts "n committed a trespass. At tho same time t", had not so uiuch sympathy with Mrs. Brown ns lie had at lirst, for it was evident that no sooner had the breath gone out of her hus- band's body Ihanshc set about making away witli tlie things. He orderod that the goods be given to the ,d,ow with 40s. damages.
