A SUCCESSFUL WELSHMAN AT I GLASCIOW UNIVERSITY. At tha inter-university competition for the Ferguson Philosophical Scholarship, held in Glas- gow on October 1 and 2-tbo scholarship being of the value of 180 a rear, held for two ye;irs, and open to the four Scotch universities—llio success- ful candidate was Mr. E. Keri Evan, M.A, of Glasgow University. He already holds the Ewing Fellowship at Glasgow for four years, ati3g;: year, ard previous to that held one of Dr. Williams's Scholarships for four years at the same college.

In 188S she married a boarding-bouse keeper named Brown, who died on the 8 h of September last.
