The Contagious Diseases (Animals) Acts. rriHE Denbighghire County Council are J. prepai ed to receive applications for the appoint- ment of Veterinary Inspector under the above Acts. to fill the vacancy occasioned by the resignation of Mr. T. T. Kennedy. No salary U attached to the office; but a fee of 10s Gd. for each visit made upon the request of the Chief Inspector, or any Police Officer under the Acts, will be paid, and mileage allowed at the rate of 3d. per mile for each mile after the first ten miles from his residence. P Ordinary Certificates (1) for Butter-making, (2) for Cheese-making, and an advanced Certificate for skill and knowledge in general dairy work will be granted on examination. In each school, prizes of A 3 and B 2 (presented by the Phcenix Oil Mil Co. Limited, Liver- pool), will be awarded for Butter-making. Prizes open to all the schools will also be awarded (1) £ 3 and (2) £5 for the highest place in the Advanced Certificate Examination.
