PRIODAS MISS EVANS, LLYS I MEDDYG. Ddoe (dydd Mercher) yr oedd Blaenau Fest- iniog o gwr i gwr yn llawn bywyd a llonder, ac amlwg oedd oddiwrth y baneri a chwifiai a'r pontydd o flodau a dail a godwyd fod rhyw amgylchiad o ddyddordeb eithriadol ar gymer- yd lIe, ac un felly yn ddiau oedd priodas y foneddiges anwyl ac uchelbarch Miss Evans. merch y meddyg poblogaidd o Lys Meddyg. Yr oedd haul mwynaf Ebrill yn tywynu yn sir- iol trwy'r dydd, fel awgrym o wen y nefoedd ar y gweithrediadau, ac yn arwydd o ddymuniad- au calon yr ardal am tywyd digwmwl a disglaer i'r briodasferch a'i phriod. Nis gallasai ardal ddangos mwy o barch nag a wnaed ar yr ach- lysur hwn. Ganwyd a magwyd Miss Evans yn ein plith. a chlymodd serch yr ardal am dani mor dyn (el mai anhawdd iawn yw caniatau iddi gael ymadael o'r lie. Unwn a'r holl ar- dalwyr'i ddymuno oes ddedwydd, hir a diloes iddi hi a'i phriod, yr hwn fel y deallwn sydd yn foneddwr o safle uchel yn ei wlad. Yn mhell cyn amser y briodas yr oedd tyrfa enfawr wedi casglu o amgylch Capel Seion, lie yr oedd y seremoni i'w gweinyddu, yn awyddus am gael trwydded iddo ac mewn ychydig funydau ar ol i'r drysau gael eu hagor- yd yr oedd yr adeilad wediei orlenwi. Ychyd- ig fynudau cyn dau daeth y priodfab, Mr Philip Hutchins Knowling, i mewn yn nghwmni y gwas priodas, Dr. Carey Evans; ac yn brydlon i'r amser daeth y Briodasferch, yn dwyn yn ei Haw Bouquet o flodau prydferth, ac yn cael ei dilyn gan ei morwynion, Misses Nancy, Bessie and Gracie Evans (chwiorydd y briod- asferch),a Miss Marjorie Franklin (nith y priod- fab), ac edrychent bob un am yr hardda yn eu gwisgoedd claerwynion. Edrychai y Briodas- ferch yn brydferth iawn pan ddeuai yn mraich ei thad yr hwn a'i rhoddodd ymaith. Gwisgai am dani Empire gown of ivory liberty satin, falling in soft graceful folds, the bodice being wel! trimmed with chiffon and beautiful duchessy lace (the gift of her aunt, Miss Jones) caught up with sprays of orange blossom and white heather. The veil was of Brussels net witJtembroidered Lover's Knots with a wreath of orange blossoms and white heather."
