HOLT. I LADIES' RIFLE CLUB.—The close of the I first season of this club was celebrated by a very Pleasant reunion. So successful had the session been that the ladies decided to mark the event with a conversazione and dance, and to that end issued limited number of invitations to the more-favoured 9f the opposite sex. On Thursday evening the irap"e mellt,,i of war were laid aside, and the members returned to that field on which they have scored so ^any victories, and where luan so willingly Surrenders. The whole affair was very successful, and all those invited thorc ug-hly appreciated the thoUbbtfulness of those ladies who had taken so "lucb trouble.
