II. I- To the Editor of Seren Gomer. I DEAR Sir,—I am extremely concerned to find that you are about to relinquish your labours in the Seren Gomer. I could wish that my countrymen had known how to appreciate the value of that publication, and had given it due encouragement. I assure you, that I should fed happy in stepping forward to support it by every means in my power; but it is useless to lament for that which is irrecoverably lost, and therefore think it much better to look ferward in the hope of seeing your abi- lities called forth in some other form. Should you apply them to any future publications, I beg that voti will consider me as a constant subscriber to them.— I have had the Seren Gomer handsomely bound, and assure you that I consider it as a very elegant addition to my Celtic library, which I shall be glad to show you, should chance or inclination ever lead you to Bath. I cannot conclude this letter without thanking you fcr much pleasure and useful information which I faavo received from your pen, and am, dear sir, Your obliged and obedient humble servant. Bath, Feb. 16, 1815. J. Bowen, ——
