David, auctioneer, of Llanelly, and a member of the Carmarthenshire County Council, was charged with a breach of the Building Societies Act by omitting to send to the Registrar a copy of the annual accounts and statement of the society in the prescribed form known as the Starr-Bowkett Society No. 763. Mr. J. W. Bishop, Llanelly, for defendant, said the latter had been appointed a trustee in order to wind up the society, but he was a busy man, and had not found time to send up the accounts. The Bench imposed a fine of £5 and 2s. 6d. a week from the time that the report should have been sent up to the Registrar. These amounts, together with costs, totalled £ 11 10s. ————————.——————. I
