I ENGLISH WOOL MARKET. MONDAY. Feb. 16.—Our market is very scantily supplied with all kinds of wool. Inquiries are nu- merous; but the high pretensions of holders prevent business. Until the result of tne approaching public sales is known, we can scarcely anticipate any positive movement in the market. Present appearances, however, are in favour of higher rates. LEEDS WOOL MARKET, Feb. 13-Sale this week have been to a moderate extent, to supply tne immediate wants of the manufactulers. Prices very firm at last week's rates. LIVERPOOL WOOL MARKET, FEB. 14. The market for all descriptions contnue firm; and buyers see na prospect of relief in lower rates in the face of the present reduced state of stocks, and there is an impression that at the sales to commence on the 26th inst., even higher rates will be esished for Colonial wools. In home descriptions etombing there has been less activity. Scotch Wools d attention at extreme quotations. f.
