BRITISH WOOL MARKET. CITY, }J ONDA Y, FtJb. U.-Tbe uausualy high prices demanded by holders have checked operations in our market. Very few parcels have changed hands, and the ipjotations have ruled almost nominal. The supply here is -musually small, and all parties are looking forward with great interest to the approach- ing public sales of colonial, which will commence on the 211th inst, but at which only about 30,000 bales. will be offered. BRADFORD WOOL MARKET, Thursday.— There is a fair demand for combing wools, particular- ly brighthaired descriptions. Prices are firm, and there is no indication of lower rates. Stocks are- tolerably well up for the Season. LEEDS WOOL MARKET, Feb. H.-fhe English Wool market has continued steady aud firm during the present week. Manufacturers buy to supply their current wants, and prices are very firm at last, week's rates. LrVERPOOL WOOL MARKET, Feb. 7. SCOTCH WOOL.—There is a fair trade demand for laid Highland at the advanced prices; but buyers  only take for their immediate wants. White High- land is scarce and inquired for. Good Cheviot and crossed are also in demand at quotations.
