Monmouth Agricultural Show. n The annual exhibition of horses, cattle. sheep, etc., was held at Monmouth on Thursday, 9th iU8t., in the Cattle Market. The luncheon was held in a teut on Little Chippingharn. Major G. Griffin presided, supported by Col the Hon F. C. Morgan, M.P., Coionel Maoleun, the Mayor of Monmouth, Captain Crompton Roberts, and others.

Meeting of the South Monmouth- shire Liberals. At a meeting of the South Monmouth Liberal Association, at Newport, on Saturday, Colonel Ivor Herbert, C. B., of Llanarth Court, Raglan, was finally adopted as Liberal candidate lor the next election, in opposition to Colonel the Hon F. C. Morgan, who has represented the constituency for nearly thirty years.

MUNDY, when the following PRIZES will be offered for competition :— CLASS I. S3 for the best SUCKING COLT. JM for the 2nd best ditto. ;C, Ifor the 3rd best ditto. CLASS II. X3 for the best SUCHTNG FILLY. £2 for the 2nd best ditto. £1 for the 3rd best ditto. The above Two Classes are restricted to Shareholders of the Usk Shire Horse Co., Ltd. CLASS III. JE2 for the beat SUCKING COLT or FILLY, the property of a Non-Shareholder. J61 for the 2nd best ditto. CLASS IV. f.3 3s. for the best YEARLING COLT or FILLY. £1 Is. for the 2nd best ditto. CLASS V. MARFELL & POOLE (Auctioneers) also offer a Prize of to the OWNER of the SUCKER, which, having been offered by them for Sale, realizes the highest price; and 10/- to the 2nd ditto. These Prizes will only be given in the event of bona fide Sales. CONDITIONS All Entries to be made to the SECRETARY, on or before FRIDAY. OCTOBER 24TH, 1902. Exhibitors desirous of offering their Colts for Sale by Auction at the close of the Show are required to acquaint the Secretary at time of entry.
