Will you kindly consent to b, one ? I can think of no event that woui I be more conducive to the successful DAJ. complishment of the task than the volun-* tary enlistment of the Editor of th £ "Star," A Hospital collecting box has beent placed adjacent to the hedge. There arco no expenses and all contributions will be handed over to the Institution without any deduction whatsoever. The box has been fixed by the request of the public so far as the public is represented by the numerous visitors to Tyrfran.' If I am asked what the thing has to do with me I shall have no answer, but I shall try to improve the occasion by asking an- other question: what has it to do with anybody ?
