An extremely sad experience of his was, that his bosom friend, Pte. Llewelyn Jones, of Skewen, fell by his side mor- tally wounded. Pte, Barrow carried him to a place of safety, where he passed away. On Friday evening he earnestly appealed to all young fellows to come for- wards to fight for their country. .———————— <
