GOWER ISOLATION HOSPITAL. I rhe Swansea Corporation arrange- ment 0011 corning the taking over of the' Gower and Oyster mouth Isolation Hos- pitalis to buy the hospital outright and provide accommodation for the Gower patients in the proposed new Sr.-a use a Isolation Hospital. "This would prevent also the maintenance of two hospitals, nearlv the whole cost of which would fall upon Swansea. The amount to be paid by the Corporation isÜ;,044, being the original cost of the hospitaj. The build- ing is worth to-day ovyer £ 10,000, the Swansea Borough treasurer points out. The Corporatiou have agreed to the Gower patients, being treated in the Swansea Isolation Hospital without Gower paying any share of the capital cost, Iuit paying its share according to time occupied by patients of the estab- lishment and maintenance charges.

Sergeant Aneurin Thomas, R.C.A.. has been awarded the Military Medal.
