By Appointment to H.M. the King. Government Distribution of Condensed Milk Important Statement by the Proprietors of NESTLES MILK. IN the face of the most harassing difficulties of production, raw materials, transport and distribution during 3i years of war conditions, we have been able, not only to satisfy the very large demands of the British Army and Navy and those of the Allied Countries, but have also—AT THE LOW ESI PRICE IN THE MARKET —greatly increased the supply of I Nestle's Milk for the British Public in general and the British babies in particular. As is generally known, we have consis- tently kept down the price of the best quality Condensed Milk in the world, and by restricting sales during the Spring and Summer when fresh milk is more plentiful. we have hitherto been able to keep our prices low during the Autumn and Winter when fresh milk is scarce. This has brought about the extraordinary result of unknown and inferior brand s being offered to the Public at. in many instances, more than 50 above out- advertised prices. In consequence of the Government Distri- bution of Condensed Milk we shall in a few weeks' time no longer control our own imports or prices. It, however, rests largely with the Public and the Trade whether they get NESTLE'S for the Nation's Babies, because more than a year ago long before we ever heard of any proposed Government Con- trol-we made arrangements for a Record output for 1918. in the milk-producing countries best able to supply our needs for the RICHEST IN CREAM. INSIST THEREFORE ON NESTLE'S MILK j We wish to thank our numerous friends and customers for the splendid manner in which they have s$gtf £ ieiiP|knd continue to assist our efforts, in I seeing that Nestle's Milk is distributed first for the purpose for which it was I originally intended-FOR INFANT FEEDING-and we invite every Mother who appreciates the fair treatment received at our hands, to immediately ask her grocer or store to nominate as I their suppliers, the firm which throughout has given the BEST QUALITY AT THE LOWEST PRICE. \'1 ¡ CASH PRICE 1IH PER TIN.
