GASSED AT THE FRONT. Swansea Man Fined at Neath. I At ineatli on Friday. Edward Pngh, now I a slaughterman, of Hig" h-street, Swansea, formerly belonging to Princess Patricia's Regiment. who had served 19 months at the front and had been gassed in the trenches, was charged with u?vetling on the G.W.R. from Swansea to N \ith on TIlUuda v with- I out having previously paid his fare. The evidence showed that defendant, at Neath, said lie had not come by train, and I that he had corns ont to the -platform from the town. Defendant said he had no intention to de- fraud. He was taken ill and carried acci- dentally on to Neath. He was fined 20s. and giwn seven days to pay. .8
