'<- At West Glamorgan Appeal Tribunal, on Tuesday, the military authorities! appealed against the exemption granted the secretary of the Swansea Metal Ex- change, Mr. J. D. D. Davis. the old Neath Rugby three-quarter and cricketer. The respondent, a single man, aid he was one qf four brothers, one of whom was a captain in the Army. m 'had appealed on domestic and husiness grounds, and added that if he went it would mean ruin to his business and family. Alluding to his brother, the captain, he remarked that his mess bill was £ 4! per week. f The military appeal was allowed, and the period of exemption reduced from February 13th to January 31st, no further appeal to be allowed.
