Evans, Rice-road, Ammanford, have now been officially in- formed of the death from wounds of « their youngest son, Pte. Evan Evans, of the Lewis gun section, attached to the 1st R.W. Fusiliers.. Pte. Evans, who is only twenty years of age, was a well- liked young man. He enlisted from Car- diff University College in the autumn of 1915, and had seen service in France since last summer. Before proceeding to college lie was for a time teacher at the Llandebie National Schools.
