The Marriage of Mari" is written in her best vein, and is an exceedingly clever study of widely differing types of character. All classes of readers will be attracted by it. The love element is strong and excellently developed, while the sensational side of the story )s never harsh or improbable. gI The critical serial reader will assuredly not be I! disappointed. The Marriage of Mari" 4T"~ Mr. Hughes, of Bryncaredog, is dying. hL Like many another man, he has been careless about essential things, and he I realises too late that on his death his daughter | Mars and his son Ivor wslL be penniless, whtle |J his second wife and her son Tom will inherit all he possesses. I The story develops on sensational lines, and I shows how an unscrupulous woman can make 1 havoc of the lives of those who stand in the way of her own advancement, and how, to |I attain her own ends, she will trample ruthlessly i on the happiness of others. 1 Opening Chapters TO-MORROW.
