PLAYING CHARLIE CHAPLIN "1
PLAYING CHARLIE CHAPLIN "1 How a Pembroke Boy Shot His Brother. We w re jilayiag Charlie Chaplin. I had got hold of one end of the ritl43 and, 110 got hold of the other. He told me to puil the trigger. I did 50, and it went ofr, ho foil down. I didn't know it was lotided." These were tJie worfls in Trliich Albert! North, aged 11, at all inquest at Pembroke Dock on Thursday, described how his i brother, Arthur, agod 13, was killed. The 1 wo boys were the sens of Ernest North, the proprietor of a ritie range in Queen-street, an 1 the accident occurred during the al)- sence of the parents at Miliord whilst' was left in charge of their daughter, aged 1!. From other evidence it appears that the bullet parsed through deceased's right, thumb and then into lua left temple, causing death within a very short period. A juror suggested that the Coroner sl-xuld censure tJio father for allowing loaded rifles to be left lying about in the rsngo, and also leaving only a young girl in. charge The Coroner replied that he conkl cen- sure the man, but he should think that own conscience would censure him much mow efficiently than he (the. Ccroner) could. The jury returned a verdict of U Acci- dental Death."
