BONYMAEN CONCERT. On Saturday, at Salem Gapel-y-Cwm, Bonymaen, the juvenile choir performed the popular cantata, "The festival oi the Jflowers" (Root). ABSOLUTELY CURED." SWANSEA TUBERCULOSIS MEDICAL OFFICER'S RlPORTS The Swansea and District Sana- torium Committee met at the Guildhall on Mondayj Councillor Dd. Matthews, J.P presiding. The committee considered pkiits of Mr. Glendejtning Moxham for the now hospital at the rear of Hendrefoilan, to provido for 50 beds, at a cost of i;12, OUU. The principle having been adopted, tho building sub-oi«umittee is to invite tenders at once. The pians have first to be approved by the Insurance Com- missioners. Dr. F. Clifford, chief tuberculosis physician, reported that 750 cases had been under observa- tion since they started seventeen months ago, and he was perfectly satis- fied with the first cases that had been re- turned. He is continuing his lecture tour in the Swansea district. Dr. Patterson, Medical Director, in his report, said that the two first cases that had returned from Pontywal, Bre- con, were absolutely cured. A committee to manage the Central I Hospital, Grove-place, Swansea, was formed of the Chairman, Mrs. H. D. Williams. Mr..J. H. Rosser, J.P., Ald. [ Morgan Tutton, Mrs. Aeroa Thomas, and Mrs, C. H. Perking.

I PARLIAMENT. (SPECIAL TO TIlE" LEADER.") Houses of Commons, Monday. The Speaker took the chair at 2.45. Mr. Newman asked whether it was still the intention of the Powers form- ing the Triple Alliance to assign to the newly-formed Principality of Albania the Gree k -s, the Greek-speaking district of Northern Epirus, and whether, seeing that the inhabitants of the district were opposed to such inclusion, and were determined to oppose it by force of arms, His Majesty's Government were prepared to assent to their coercion. Mr. Acland said cummunications were passing with the Greek Government respecting the settlement, of the .Southern Albanian frontier )ine on the basis unanimously agreed upon by all tho Gœat Powers represented at the Ambassadors' conference held last year. The decision of the Powers on. this point, therefore, was not that of the Triple Alliance only, and he hoped no question of coercion would arise. More Foot and Mouth Disease. John Starch-field, the newsvendor who ifi accused of the murder of his fivo- year-oki, son Willie, in a train on the North London Railway on J'anuary 8th, was again before the magistrate at Old- street Police Court this afternoon. Prisoner walked to the dock with a confident air, and for some moments gazed, around the court, as if in search of someone he kijew. At the Public Library oil Saturday even- ing-, Mr. John M.dith (Morriston), chair- man of the Swansea, Cymrodorion Society, entertained a very large audience with his lecture, "A Cymro in the land of the Breton." Mr. J. Lovet Owen presided. The trip to Brittany, üf which the lecture was deecriptiv-e, v.as urxlertaken mmmers ago by a number of prominent p-aople—Bard« and others—from Swansea., Cardiff, and other parts of Walee, to attend a Gorsedd ceremony in Brittany, when tho "Marriage of the Swords" tf-ok place. The party was described, said the lecturer, as consisting- of the Mayors of IVak-,the term of offioe ala., of most of these Mayors ex- pired with the end of the trip. The lecturer described the various festi- T-the battle of flowers, in which Dyfed, the Aroh-druid. was for a time loat in a. mound of flowers; the dancing com petitions, when the people danced themselves, and did not, like ourselves, pay othera to do so; the great pageant which cost the Nantes people some £W,OOO, depicting Breton history of the invasions of Julius Ceasar, much of which is our own history; the sacred pro- cessions, coiled Pardons, and the great I Gonsedd ceremony; and the lecturer ended with a telling eulogy of the Breton people and their religion. At the Swansea Police Court to-day, Ann Wagsutlf summoned Ruth Saun- ders for wilfully breaking eight paaiea of gloss and sashes in tne window 01 No. 15, Cwin-sti-Qet, the property oi complainant, doing damage to the am-ount of JE3 on February 16th. Sha also summoned Aubrey launders iui assault. Mr. Edward Harris defended. In answer to Mr. Edward Harris, com- plainant denied that she carried on with defendant's husband. She was noi the cause of unpleasantness between Mrs. Saunders and Air. Saunders, and ■she had not, tempted a little girl to drink port wine with her. She denied othex allegations. Ernest Wagstaff, complainant's has- bojid, was also called. In answer to Mr. Harris, witness said that he allowed Mr. Saunders to come to his house as he did not believe the allegations made against his wife of carrying on with him. He did not see the young fellows out- side break the windows" with a clothes prop. Tnere were about 20 people out- side, and only Mrs. Saunders broke the windows. Mx. Edward Harris, for the defence, said that on this occasion, Mrs. Saun- ders saw her husband drinking with Mrs. Wagstaff in the Wagstaff's house, and she tapped the window three times. he people inside of the house rushed out, a.nd a row took place. A number of young men who were passing, 011 hearing the story, broke all the windowa and shouted for Saunders to come out. Mrs. Saunders did not ask them or en. courage them to break the windows. Evidence io this effect was given bj Mrs. Saunders, Miss Esther Homey, hot sister, and Aubrey Saunders. Both cases was dismissed.
