LLANDtLO. Mrs. Gwvnne-Hughes. Tregeyb, Llandilo, widow of the late Lord Lieutenant of the County, and one of the Governors af the Llandilo Intermediate School, who takes a keen interest in its welfare, has long been indisposed, but has now sufficiently recovered to go about again. She attended the prize distribution on Friday, and was very warmly received. Subsequently she addressed the pupils. The Young People's Guild was held at .Ebenezer Vestry last Tuesday evening, over which Mr. Benjamin Griffiths, New Road, presided. Papers were read by Mr. J. L. Thomas, 5, Bank Buildings, on Christianity and War Mr. Willie Davies, Pistillgwyn, 0:1 Ann Griffiths, the Welsh Hymnoiogist" Mr. T. Evans, Llandilo Bridge Station, on "My Religious Experience"; and Mr. Rhydderch Davies, Ffairfach, on Bap- tism." All the papers were highly appre- ciated by the audience. Comments were made by the following:—Rev. G. Edmund Williams (pastor) Mr. Evan Davies, Kenwyn Cottage; Mr. Jacob Lewis, Troedrhiw; and the Chairman.
