BRYNAMMAN. I A Merry Christmas and a' Happy New I car lU ..1,. All dependents who have complaints re. specting their allowances, &c., should submit their cases to the Brynamman Branch of the National Fgderation of Discharged and Demobilised Sailors and Soldiers through the secretary, Mr. R. J. Davies, or any member, and an attempt will be made to remove the grievance. A meeting of the honorary members of the Brynamman Branch of the National Federa- tion of Discharged and Demobilised Sailors and Soldiers was held at the Committee Room on Friday evening, when Ald. W. J. WiUiams presided. The primary business of the evening was to decide the amount to be subscribed by each honorary member towards the fund. It was proposed by Mr. Tom Morgan, Park Street, and seconded by Mr. Harold Rees, Albion (treasurer), that a mini- mum of 6d. per month per head be subscribed. It was unanimously carried. The secretary, Mr. T. Morris Walters, was instructed to allow a respite of two weeks without a meet- ing. In the meantime, each of the members should make an effort to get new members, and bring in their lists at the end of that period. All present expressed their confi- dence that the appeal made thus for new members would meet with a general response.*
