CORRESPONDENCE.
CORRESPONDENCE. We do not hold ourselves responsible fot I the opinions of our correspondents. To the Edztor. I Dear Sir,— Would you -kindly allow me to draw the attention of our local Red Cross workers to the fact that we sball be commencing the weekly meetings again the first week *of November, in a room in Barmouth (very kindly lent by Mr and Mrs Francis Morris). The date will be advertised in your columns, and we sincerely hope that the ladies who so splendidly supported the movement in Barmouth last year and sent 1700 garments to headquarters will again rally round and help us, as the need is, if anything, more pressing this winter. Contributions to the fund, either in money or materials and wool, are earnestly desired, and will be most gratefully received and acknowledged in the Advertiser by either Mrs Gwynoro Davies, Haulfryn, Hon. Treasurer, or by me. Yours truly, GWENDOLYNE DENTON, Tymynach, Hon. Sec. Barmoutb. HENDREMYNACH BELGIANS. To the Editor. bir, Kindly allow me, on behalf of the Hendremynach Committee, to draw the attention of the public to the tact that therefis some misunderstanding as to the weekly contributions. May I point out that all these contributions are for the benefit of the Hendremynach Refugees only. There is no connection whatever between this committee and that of the War Office. The refugees who are billeted in the various boarding houses are maintained, and are under the control of the local Committee, acting on behalf of the latter, and whose secretary is Mr G. E. Owen, Y Wern, Yours faithfully, RHYS JONES.
I RHEUMATISM and KIDNEY TROUBLE…
RHEUMATISM and KIDNEY TROUBLE I FREE TREATMENT. I Rheumatism is due to uric acid crys- tals in the joints and muscles, the result of excessive uric acid in the system that the kidneys failed to remove as nature intended, and this acid is to a great extent the cause of backache, lumbago, sciatica, gout, urinary trouble, stone, gravel, dropsy. The success of Estora Tablets fortbe treatment of rheumatism and other forms of kidney trouble is due to the fact that they restore the kidneys to healthy action and thereby-remove the cause of the trouble, and have cured numberless cases after the failure of other remedies, which accounts for them fast superseding out-of-date medicines that are sold at a price beyond all but the wealthy. To prove Estora Tablets fully warrant their description-an honest remedy at an honest price-one full box of 40 tablets will be sent to readers of the Barmouth Advertiser as a free sample on receipt of this notice and 3d. in stamps to cover postage, packing, etc. Sold by chemists, lilt per box of 40 tablets, or six boxes for 6s. For full box sample addrass Estora Co., 132, Cbaring Cross Road, London, W.C.

without a scratch. We are under a very heavy bombardment to-day from our own guns. They don't half give the enemy's trenches whatfor. We can see the sand bags flying in the air. It is a nerve testing ordeal to go through. God-speed the day when the 'Prince of Peace' will reign over all the world." Since the receipt of this letter, which was written on the 20tb, inst., news has been received that Corp. Walter Pugh is wounded, and is at the base hospital. A long, humerous' and interesting letter was receivedofrom Pte. William Finnigan, who entered the trences last Sunday week for ten days, after a rest. Many other similar letters were received, but so far nothing has been beard from the Dardanelles, where most of the boys are, and where the bulk of the cigarettes were sent. At the Dardanelles.—No news has yet come to band that ;the Seventh Royal Welsh Fusiliers have again been been in the fighting line. That they are a good many miles from the Turks is indicated by some of the interesting letters sent home. Apparently *a large number of them are engaged in guarding prisoners on an island. The letters home are generally written in a cheerful vein, and complaints are few, considering the many and varied reasons why Tommy might be excused grumbling a little. Plenty of work and enough to eat," seems to be the general verdict of the boys. Obituary.—The death took place on Tuesday morning of Mrs Williams, the wife of Mr Griffith Williams, Artro House, at the age of eighty-one. The decea-sed bad been ailing for some time but had borne lber illness like a true Christian. She was highly respected by all who knew her. Much sympathy is extended to Mr Griffith Williams (the husband), Miss B.A.Williams (daughter), Mr Williams, Canada (son), and also with her only sister, Mrs Edwards, Bank House, in their sad bereavement.
