THE CROWN OF BARMOUTH. BY AN ANCIENT TAE. In the year of our Lord God, 1892. Her Crown of glory is the way [day! Which Barmouth keeps the Sabbath The week-day bustle in the Street Is hushed-no Tar stands on the Quay— All Craft do at their moorings stay No sail sweeps o'er the quiet bay. In God's own House of Prayer we meet, To seek Christ in this life so brief- And from all grief to gain relief. The little town, and rocky steep, Look calmly on the vast blue deep And Nature smiles on that sweet plan Of Sabbath joy, unmarre'd by man.
