Deatb OF lilt. IRERETIITI)…

Deatb OF lilt. IRERETIITI) EtJans. It is with heartfelt sorrow we record this week the passing away of Mr Meredith Evans, Lawrennv Lodge. With his usual custom, he attended the morning service at the English Congre- gational Church last Sunday, and ful- filled with unwonted energy his duties as sidesman and deacon, but between 5 and 6 p.m. he bad a slight paralitic seizure and spite of the assiduous atten- dance of his doctor (Dr. J. Pugh Jones) and devoted nursing of friends and neighbours, he gradually grew worse peacefully passing away mid-day on Tuesday. A short biographical sketch will appear in our next issue.
