The Palace.
The Palace. Again we are pleased to call atten- tion to the very excellent programme arranged by Mr. Hall Jones for the last three days of this week, the prin- cipal item being a splendid Nordisk drama, sensational and thrilling. This picture, "The Dead Man's Child," will hold the attention of any audience. On Monday next the programme will include another exclusive picture of an unusual character, "The Leopard De- tective," in which in a number of thril- ling scenes a leopard captures two criminals. This fine picture is leading a good selection of drama and comedy subjects, among which are "The Fasci- nation of Maude," The Speed Kings" and Dupm, Sammy, and a Side-car, all very amusing. "The Girl in the Houseboat, il: The King's Man," and The Anarchist" are excellent dra- mas. The Gazette, with the latest news, and 1 picture showing the mak- ing of Bessemer Steel, will afford some touch of interest and instruction. On Thursday of next week a thrill- ing society dama will make a bid for the picture-goers' attention. This pic- ture of a Wayward Woman is fine. It is the story of a life of gaiety, and the self-sacrifice of this woman in giv- ing herself as a Red-(:?rom nurse in or- der to atone for the past. This can only be seen at the Palace, as it is an exclusive subject.
