YNYSMUDWY. « A musical service was held recently at St. Mary's Church in connection with the Sunday-school. The following took part: Recitation, Mr. WiUie Stead; solos Davies, • Miss Doreen Steadman, Miss Dorothy Evans, Miss Mary Lewis, Miss Sarah Evans, Waencoed, Miss Sarah Stead- man, Measrs. Rees Price, Emily Mor- gan, Mr. Geo. Steadman and party, and the Rev. T. W. Jones, who also conducted the service. Mr. G. A. Evans presided at the organ. The funer:il of the late Mrs. Ann Williams, Old-road, took place at the Parish Church on Tuesday, and was largely attended. The Revs. T. W. Jones and John Williams officiated at the house and church. Lieut. T. J. Evans, Labour Batt., Oswestry, has been home on leave, and Lanoe-corpl. Roger Thomas (Forest Villa) is home from France for 14 days. Lieut. Stanley Griffiths, R.F.C., also visited his. home last week.
