I SOSRESPOflDEMGE- I MEAT DISTRIBUTION AT YSTRDAGYNLAIS. I To the Editor. Sir,-i lia-f c been informed that Mr. John Davies, butcher, Gurnos, caused some disturbance at Ystradgynlais Mart on Tuesday last, saying that the butchers at Ystradgynlaifl had more meat last week than they were allowed in January. Now, this ia giving the public a wrong impression entirely. I have shared most of the meat in January with Ystradgynlais butchers, and know partly what they have had. I will take my own case for instance: Meat allowed for January: 4 cattle, 52 sheep. Meat received, 2i cattle, 4 eheep. I ask Mr. Davies to compare these figures with his own. I do not know exactly what he is allowed, but I do know that he has had his full supply, and I am sure ho has a good supply this week. Further, we formed a butchers' association for equal distri- bution of moat for the district, which would have been carried out but for Mr. Davies, who was not willing for equal distribution.—Yours faithfully, I Y stradgynluis. GEORGE LOWE, j Ystradgynlais.
