Pontfadog National School. In the House of Commons, on! Monday, Mr Herbert Roberts asked whether any decision had beiem arrived: at in regard to the representations and: objections addressed1 to ithe: Board; by the Parish Council and inhabitants interestied in the Pontfadog1 National School, Denbighshire, rela- tive to the draft final order in the case of such school, and whether the Board woulid order a local inquiry to be held before finally settling any scheme for the appoinit-merit of foundation ■managers for such ,schaal. S'ir W. Anson said that the application on which the d,raft final order was prepared only mentioned one trust deed, and- the Board 'had no knowledge: of any other. It had now been ascertained that there were two trust deeds for the school-—one: of a very strict Church of England character, the other of 'a more liberal character. The observa- tions which persalns in the locality had: sub- mitted to the Board were now under c.arusidera-; tion, and. the Board would direct a local inquiry if they were satisfied that it was necessary or desirable.
