FRIARS SCHOOL v. BANGOR ATHLETIC. PLayed on the Friars Ground, on Saturday. F-riaæ took up the attack, and Owen, on the left, was prominent with tricky play. Athletic now took up the running, but Bam- ford relieved with a long punt. Thomas gained possession, and sooned with a good shot. On resuming Friars again pressed, and scored a second goal through Vernon Owen. Athletic began to bestir themselves, and were swarming around the Friars goal. Walfoixl sent outside the post. Athletic Kept up the pressure, and Pattison opened the score. Half-tAnue arrived: Friars, 2; Athletic, 1. The second half was stubbornly contested, and Friars played a nice game.
