ABERGELE. MARRIAGE.—On Saturday morning, at the Baptist Chapel, the wedding took place of Mr John Davies, G-arthewin Lodgio, Llanfairtalhui- arn. and Miss Ajiiiie Davies, Htrdiaii. Mr Peter Jones acted a,3 best man, and Miss Maggie Da- vies was the bridesmaid* The wedding break- fast was served at the Harp Hotel. RURAL lWAD REP URS.-The long disused Toaxi leading from Penyooed in the diirection of Twll Llwynog is to be put into thorough) repair by the Rural District Council. THE CAFE AND CLUB.—The Ship Temper- ance Cafe and Club, erected three years ago at a cost of £ 3000 by Sir Herbert Roberts and other members of the Tan'rallt family, and pre- sented to the town, has now a membership of considerably over two hundred. The financial statement for the past year shows receipts amounting to C449 83 lOd, whilst the expenditure totalled E391 16s 8d, the balance carried forward exceeding that of last year by over £20. The secretary is Councillor R. Roberts (Glasfryn). ATHLETE'S SUCCESSES.—At the St. 'Asaph Foresters' Fete to-day week the following suc- cesses were gained by local athlotes :The mile flat race: Ben Davies, second; Wm. Da vies, third.
