CONGREGATIONALISTS' EISTEDDFOD AT DENBIGH SUCCESS OF GRONANT AND LLANSANNAN CHOIRS. The Congregaitonal]Etta of Denbigh held their aranuai Eisteddfod on Good Friday, the arrange- ments being carried out by the &mrctmnfr,- Messrs J. Treganning and R. Thos. Williams- Two meetings were held and both were veil attended. The adjudicators were:—Mueio, Mr D. Evans, Mus. Bao., OarcfcfT; poetry, proge and recitations, Rev. Rhys J. Hinds, Bethesda; masr oollanecnis, Messrs W. R. Owen Rhoeddu. R. B. Adams (County Road Surveyor), Denbigh, and W. Stevenson, Conway. Mi,56 Tabitha, Tre- ganmag, and Miss Minnie Batten acted as aooom- paasts. AFTERNON MEETING. Councillor R. H. Roberto, J.P., FoxliaJJ, pre- sided at this meeting, when the following awards were iiiakle: Recitation, "Ora Pro Nobis: Equal first, Robert Edwards, The Castle, Denbigh, and Percy Jones. Rhyl- Solo: "Crist a GyffodtxM:" 1, Emily Davies. Vale-street; 2, Evelyn Jones, HemJJan Place. Pianoforte goto, "Bagatelle in G Minor:" 1. Annita Davies, Vale-street; 2. Josephine Roberts, Llandyraog. Short poem, "Dyftryn Clwld:" Benjamin Davies, Rutfiio. Juvenile ohour competition, "Dewch i ohwareu yn yr eira:" Two choirs competed -Rhyl and Gronanit.
